When we act for you

We act for you only when we have agreed to act and you have a written costs agreement with us. Until then, no lawyer and client relationship exists, whatever you have told us and however urgent the matter is. That includes an enquiry, a booking, a callback request and any conversation with Sophie.

One consequence is worth stating plainly. If you are facing a deadline, sending an enquiry does not stop the clock, and nobody at the firm is acting on your matter until we say we are. If your matter is urgent, call 1300 764 050 and say so.

Sophie

Sophie is automated technology, not a person and not a lawyer. Sophie takes enquiries and makes bookings. Nothing Sophie says is legal advice or a promise that the firm will act for you, and automated systems can make mistakes. You can ask for a person at any time.

Results
